The system also includes a task characterization module (104) configured to receive cloud workload information. The system also includes a reinforcement learning-based scheduling module (106) configured to determine an optimal task allocation policy. The system also includes a multi- objective optimization module (108) configured to evaluate and optimize scheduling decisions. The system also includes a cloud resource management module (110) configured to allocate and execute tasks on virtualized or physical computing resources according to the optimized scheduling decisions.
