MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621048081 A) filed by Satyam Lalit More; Lalit Pitambar More; and Priya Lalit More on April 15, 2026, for A Hybrid Thermochemical And Latent Heat Storage System For High-Density Industrial Thermal Regulation.
Inventor includes Satyam Lalit More.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The invention discloses an 11-ton hybrid thermal energy storage reactor (Vulkardia) capable of storing 2.4 MWh of energy. The system utilizes a unique 60:25:10:5 composite of Zeolite 13X, CaCl2, Organic PCM, and Expanded Graphite. The reactor architecture includes a graduated vapor distribution mantle for uniform hydration and sliding-fit copper coil supports to manage thermal expansion at 150°C. The system provides a lossless, high-density alternative to sensible heat storage for industrial applications, achieving a round-trip efficiency of 76%.
