Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a hydraulic patient transfer chair system (100) with split-seat support mechanism for safely lifting, transferring, and lowering patients with reduced caregiver effort. The system (100) comprises a frame assembly (101) providing structural support, a split-open seat assembly (102) configured to be positioned beneath a seated patient and subsequently closed to form a seating platform, and a hydraulic lifting assembly (103) actuated by a manual hydraulic pump (104). A hydraulic piston assembly (105) converts hydraulic pressure into controlled vertical movement for lifting the patient. A locking mechanism (106) secures the seat assembly during lifting and transportation, while a wheel assembly (107) with braking mechanisms enables safe mobility and stabilization. A pressure release valve (108) facilitates gradual lowering of the patient, and an ergonomic pump handle (109) enables convenient manual operation of the hydraulic pump. The system provides a portable, reliable, and non-electric solution for safe patient handling in healthcare and home-care environments. The figure associated with abstract is Fig. 1.
