The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: Present disclosure relates to a laminated glazing stack designed for precise and efficient segment control. It comprises a plurality of glass layers, transmitting and receiving conductive loops (302a, 302b respectively) formed on separate substrate layers, which may be inductively coupled to enable wireless power transfer. Each pair of transmitting and receiving loops (302a, 302b) may correspond to a specific segment of the PDLC display. Conductive electrodes (204) connected to these conductive loops (302a, 302b), may regulate the applied voltage for controlling segment transparency. Further, a controller (402) may be configured to generate control signals to manage voltage levels across the segments, while a digital circuit may produce gate signals 508 to adjust the optical state of each segment based on these control signals. This innovative design and the associated PDLC display device and method may ensure accurate segment activation, minimize crosstalk, and facilitate dynamic control of the PDLC display.
