Abstract: TITLE: “A LOCKING MECHANISM OF A SENSOR UNIT OF VEHICLE” ABSTRACT A locking mechanism (500) for a sensor unit (100) of a vehicle is disclosed. The sensor unit includes a holder plate (200) and a cover plate (300). The locking mechanism includes at least one first lock member (220), provisioned on the holder plate, and at least one second lock member (320), provisioned on the cover plate. The first lock member is defined with a first receiving portion (222) and a second receiving portion (224). The first receiving portion extends longitudinally along the holder plate and the second receiving portion extends transversely, relative to the holder plate. The second lock member is provisioned on the cover plate and is adapted to be received in the first receiving portion and the second receiving portion to lock the cover plate with the holder plate. The locking mechanism provides robust securing of the cover plate with the holder plate to withstand jerks, and crashes. FIG. 5 is a representative figure.
