Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for predicting a crack in a glazing while mounting the glazing on a vehicle is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a vehicle body image and a glazing image from a portable device. Further, the method comprises obtaining vehicle measurement data and glazing measurement data from the received vehicle body image and the glazing image, respectively. Furthermore, the method comprises comparing the vehicle measurement data and the glazing measurement data with a corresponding predefined vehicle threshold and a predefined glazing threshold, respectively. Further, the method comprises determining stress in the glazing based on the comparing when the vehicle measurement data and the glazing measurement data are within the corresponding predefined vehicle threshold and predefined glazing threshold, respectively.
