MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541069221 A) filed by Trupti Suresh Naik on July 21, 2025, for A Method And System For Determining Placement Locations For Supplementary Content In Media.

Inventor includes Trupti Suresh Naik.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for determining placement locations for supplementary content within media are disclosed. The system receives primary media and one or more user-specified contextual conditions and analyzes the media using one or more selected media analysis techniques to identify elements corresponding to the contextual conditions. Based on the identified elements and one or more placement preferences, the system determines one or more placement locations for supplementary content relative to the identified elements. Where requested, the supplementary content is associated with the determined placement locations to generate modified media. Alternatively, or additionally, the system may generate placement information, timestamps, metadata, reports, or structured data representing the determined placement locations. The disclosed techniques operate on the media being processed rather than relying on previously generated metadata, thereby enabling contextual placement within original, modified, or edited media.
