Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR ANALYZING THE LEVELS OF HEAVY METALS IN WATER SAMPLES A method (100) for analysing the levels of heavy metals in water samples. Further, the method comprising collecting water samples from various locations suspected of being influenced by industrial effluents. Further, analyzing the collected water samples using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS). Further, determining the presence and concentration of heavy metals in the water samples, wherein the detected levels of heavy metals, including Fe, Cu, Cr, As, Cd, and Ni, are substantially higher than the permissible limits. Further, generating a report detailing the levels of Cr and Cd contamination and the potential ecological impacts. FIG. 1
