Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing steel with Dull Finish. The manufactured steel with Dull Finish has desired roughness and reflectivity. In the method of the present invention the Dull Finish (DF) is achieved on the stainless steel surface of exterior/side walls of rolling stock through combination of special rolling, annealing – pickling and skin-passing route. This special Dull finish closely matches gloss reflectance and surface roughness values (Ra) as specified. The manufactured steel sheet/coils is used for rolling stocks.
