Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR MONITORING AN EXAMINATION AND A FRAMEWORK THEREOF The present invention relates to a computer-implemented examination monitoring method and framework for detecting cheating intent during an examination. The method includes capturing visual behavioral data of a candidate, extracting involuntary micro-movement features comprising micro-saccadic eye movements, fixation deviations, blink variations, facial motion patterns, and head movement patterns, and establishing a candidate-specific behavioral baseline during a calibration period. Subsequently extracted involuntary micro-movement features are continuously compared with the candidate-specific behavioral baseline to identify behavioral deviations. A real-time anomaly score indicative of cheating intent is generated based on the identified behavioral deviations, and examination monitoring is performed based on the anomaly score. The framework further performs local processing of the involuntary micro-movement features without persistently storing raw video data of the candidate. The invention improves examination monitoring accuracy, reduces false-positive detections, enables real-time behavioral assessment, and enhances candidate privacy protection.
