The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: A method (300) for preparing a diosgenin (101) loaded transethosomal vesicular dispersion comprises preparing a binary alcohol solvent system (100) by combining ethanol with purified water and dissolving soya lecithin and Tween 80 therein. Diosgenin (101) is dispersed in the binary alcohol solvent system (100) under probe sonication to obtain an organic phase (105). A pre-cooled aqueous phase (107) is introduced into the organic phase (105) under stirring to nucleate transethosomal vesicles (109). The transethosomal vesicles (109) are subjected to intermittent probe sonication in pulse cycles to reduce vesicle size. The transethosomal vesicles (109) are stored under refrigeration to obtain the diosgenin (101) loaded transethosomal vesicular dispersion suitable for dermal delivery of diosgenin (101) to inflamed joint tissues.
