The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparation of a metal matrix hybrid composite and a product thereof. The present invention provides self-lubricating hybrid composites that incorporate both a solid lubricant and inorganic compound as dual reinforcement through the powder metallurgy route that includes sintering at optimized temperatures, for achieving enhanced mechanical strength, wear resistance, frictional stability, and tribological reliability under moderate to high load sliding conditions. The present invention further addresses optimization of processing parameters to improve interfacial bonding, densification and long-term service performance.
