Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical packaging and medicine information retrieval system comprising a pharmaceutical blister strip having a plurality of dosage-unit receiving cavities, wherein each cavity is associated with a unique machine-readable code. The machine-readable code is configured to provide access to medicine-related information including medicine name, dosage strength, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, storage instructions, safety information, and authenticity information. The machine-readable code remains associated with the respective cavity even after cutting, tearing, or separation of the blister strip, thereby enabling individual dosage-unit traceability and information retention. Upon scanning the machine-readable code using an electronic device, the associated medicine information is retrieved and displayed, optionally in a user-selected language. The invention facilitates medicine identification, expiry verification, authenticity verification, product traceability, recall management, and enhanced patient safety by maintaining medicine-related information at an individual dosage-unit level.
