Abstract: ABSTRACT “A MICROWAVE BASED DRUGS INCINERATION SYSTEM AND METHOD” The present invention relates a microwave based drugs incineration system (100) comprising a microwave chamber (101), a magnetron, a controller (107), a vacuum pump (104), a solvent chamber (105), an air filter (106) for disposal of drugs along with features like automated monitoring, data logging and remote access via Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The microwave based drugs incineration system (100) comprises a crucible (102) that includes one or more extended fins (102a) that are inwardly projecting fins extending from an inner sidewall of the crucible (102) towards a central region of the crucible (102) to promote uniform heat distribution and eliminate cold spots.
