Abstract: The present invention relates to a deep learning empowered system and method for early shrimp disease diagnosis that enables shrimp farmers to capture shrimp images using smartphones and receive real-time diagnostic outputs without requiring internet connectivity. The system 100 of the present invention comprises a smartphone device 102 equipped with a camera 104 for capturing images of shrimp 106, a mobile application 108, a segmentation module 110, a classification module 112, and a local storage/database 114 for model parameters and captured images. The smartphone device 102 allows shrimp farmers to capture images directly in pond or tray conditions, enabling the mobile application 108 to process images locally without the need for internet connectivity.
