Abstract: ABSTRACT A MOTILE SPERM SORTING DEVICE AND ITS FABRICATION THEREOF The present invention relates to a motile sperm sorting device that enables efficient, passive, and continuous separation of motile sperm from non-motile or low-motility sperm populations and its fabrication thereof. The device comprises of an inlet region, an outlet region and a plurality of interconnected microfluidic arms containing multiple chambers arranged along a flow path. Further, the device exhibits improved linearity (LIN) and straightness (STR) in a sperm sample. Moreover, the device is used in Assisted Reproduction (ART) field including selection of high-viability gametes for in-vitro, in-vivo, and micro-injection, Artificial Insemination (AI) Dose Optimization, Point-of-Care (POC) Diagnostics including use of sorting mechanisms to quantify functional fertility.
