Abstract: ABSTRACT A MOVABLE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING SYSTEM The present invention discloses a device (100) for electric vehicle charging,5 comprising a pair of first beams (105-1, 105-2) supported by vertical support beams (110) and a second beam (104) movably mounted on the first beams (105-1, 105-2) via a first drive assembly (209) including a servo motor and a rack-and-pinion transmission. A charging unit (101) is mounted on the second beam (104) through a second drive assembly (211) with a stepper10 motor and belt-and-pulley transmission. The charging unit (101) includes a reel assembly (106) with a bobbin, a BLDC motor with integrated gearbox, an electromagnetic brake, a slip ring assembly, an encoder, and a tension sensor, all coordinated by a motion control unit to provide multi-axis movement and maintain cable tension. The device (100) automatically15 positions the charging unit (101) relative to the vehicle (102) and allows the charging connector to rotate for alignment, enabling safe, efficient, and flexible charging across multiple parking spaces (208).
