Abstract: The present invention is related to a multi-functional autonomous agricultural system designed for precision farming. the system comprises a mobile rover chassis (12) with a selectable 4-, 6-, or 8-wheel drive configuration, powered by high-torque DC motors (14), for stable operation across varied terrains. A vision system (22) captures real-time imagery, which is processed locally by an embedded GPU module (24) running multiple machine learning models (26) to classify vegetation as crops or weeds and detect plant diseases. A multi-axis robotic arm (40) with interchangeable end-effectors, including a mechanical gripper (44) and a spray nozzle (56), enables selective weed removal and targeted application of liquid fertilizers or pesticides (52). The system integrates a GPS module (60) to log coordinates of diseased or nutrient-deficient plants, generating dynamic farm health maps. A hierarchical control system (20, 30) coordinates high-level decision-making with low-level actuation. All processing occurs on-board without reliance on cloud computing.
