Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertical pole-mounted raw surface water purification and shower dispensing apparatus configured to receive untreated water from a natural water source and deliver treated water for bathing use. The apparatus comprises a two-stage pre-filtration unit including a depth sediment filtration media and a granular activated carbon media, a suction pump, and a primary multi-layer filtration unit comprising a polypropylene spun filter layer, a granular activated carbon layer, a fine sand media layer, a cation exchange resin layer, and an ultrafiltration hollow-fibre membrane module arranged in fluid communication. The apparatus further comprises a pressure gauge, a sampling valve, and a shower dispensing outlet mounted on a common structural pole. The arrangement provides continuous purification of raw surface water while reducing particulate loading, organic contaminants, hardness-causing ions, and microbiological contaminants, thereby enabling field-deployable delivery of treated bathing water at riverbanks, ghats, pilgrimage sites, and other public gathering locations.
