The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A native-language-aware adaptive English pronunciation training system with phoneme interference analysis and real-time articulatory feedback is provided. The system comprises an audio acquisition interface, processor, memory, speech preprocessing module, phoneme analysis module, native-language phoneme interference mapping module, error classification module and articulatory feedback generation module. The system captures learner speech, determines an observed English phoneme or phoneme sequence, extracts pronunciation features and compares the features with target English phoneme characteristics. A language-specific interference mapping is used with measured features to determine a probable native-language interference category and an interference confidence value. When the confidence satisfies a selected threshold, the system generates a corrective articulatory instruction relating to speech-production parameters such as tongue position, lip configuration, jaw opening, voicing or airflow. In a preferred embodiment, processing is performed on an edge computing device to provide low-latency feedback and reduce dependence on continuous network connectivity. A learner profile records pronunciation attempts and error patterns and selects subsequent exercises adaptively. The system is applicable to multilingual English language learning and pronunciation training.
