Abstract: [060] The present invention relates to a natural prebiotic composition derived from Grona triflora and a process for preparing the same. The composition comprises a processed plant-derived fraction rich in dietary fibers and polysaccharides capable of retaining functional stability under acidic gastric conditions and supporting the growth or metabolic activity of beneficial gut microorganisms. The invention provides a process comprising collection, cleaning, drying, pulverization, extraction or fiber enrichment, separation, concentration, drying, and standardization of Grona triflora plant material to obtain a stable prebiotic ingredient. The invention further provides an in vitro assessment method for evaluating acid resistance and prebiotic potential of the derived composition. The composition may be formulated as powders, granules, capsules, tablets, sachets, beverage premixes, nutraceutical compositions, functional food additives, or pharmaceutical-support compositions. The invention provides an affordable, sustainable, plant-based, and eco-friendly alternative to conventional prebiotic sources for maintaining gut microbial balance and supporting digestive health.
