Abstract: ABSTRACT A NITRIDE MATERIAL, ITS PREPARATION PROCESS, AND A DEVICE THEREOF The present disclosure provides a nitride material of Formula (I): rocksalt AlxSc1-5 xN1-yOy, wherein x is a value between 0 and 1 and y is a value between 0 and 0.1. The present disclosure further provides a process for preparation of nitride material as disclosed herein, wherein the process comprising: epitaxial growing of aluminium scandium nitride in presence of an oxygen-rich environment for a predetermined time to obtain the nitride material of Formula (I). Furthermore, the 10 present disclosure provides a coated substrate comprising the nitride material as disclosed herein, and an optoelectronic device thereof.
