The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A NOVEL FIXTURE FOR LIKING & DE-LIKING OF ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The disclosed invention presents a floor-mounted fixture for linking and de-linking the engine and transmission of a heavy powerpack, such as a 4-ton tank unit. The fixture has a legged base frame carrying parallel angle and flat tracks. Engine and transmission carriages ride on corresponding wheel sets so only linear motion along a horizontal axis is permitted. A screw-jack with a lead screw converts rotary input to controlled separation or approach, maintaining coaxial alignment for coupling. Replaceable stoppers, locking pins, and modular holders secure components and limit travel. The arrangement reduces tools, time and risk while enabling repeatable assembly and disassembly.
