Abstract: ABSTRACT [0022] Finding the right candidate is important but difficult for organizations, usually taking so much time and effort to measure key attributes of confidence, emotional intelligence, personality, and communication skills. Traditional recruitment approaches may not reliably assess these behavioral traits during the earlier filtering stages. To overcome this gap, our project aims to develop a system that analyzes the behavioral cues during video interviews . The proposed system uses multimodal analysis to measure candidates' facial expressions and voice tones in real-time. Machine learning algorithms are employed for face emotion detection, voice emotion evaluation, and speech-to-text conversion, thus allowing a detailed analysis of candidates' interpersonal skills. The system also provides feedback on emotional intelligence in real time and graphically plots the change in emotions over the frames of the interview. This approach expedites the screening process and lends considerable richness to candidate assessment to empower hiring teams with confidence in their decisions. The system is intended to relieve recruiters from cumbersome work; reduce bias; and improve the accuracy of the final shortlist. Our solution fuels efficiency, objectivity, and real insight into hiring, a disruption to how behavioral competencies are assessed in modern recruitment workflows.
