Abstract: Tendu fruits are indeed a valuable source of essential nutrients and are widely recognized for their role in promoting over-all health. They provide a variety of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that contribute to the prevention of deficiencies and certain chronic diseases. Early humans relied on wild-plant products for sustenance and food preparation before the advent of agriculture. Consuming foods daily promotes good health and viscosity. The present study shows the vast potential of lesser known fruits (Tendu) that can meet the nutritional requirement of the people.
