Abstract: Abstract The present invention discloses a novel Shata-Dhruta Ghrita-based herbal formulation and a process for preparation thereof. The formulation comprises a synergistic combination of Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia), Neem (Azadirachta indica), Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus) and Haridra (Curcuma longa), processed with cow ghee and purified water in a defined ratio. The medicated ghee is subjected to an intensive Shata-Dhruta Ghrita process involving approximately ten thousand washes using a rose–saffron infused water medium in a copper vessel, followed by addition of essential oils. The formulation exhibits enhanced stability, dermatological acceptability and therapeutic efficacy, making it suitable for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use.
