MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611060887 A) filed by Zavenir Daubert India Private Limited on May 13, 2026, for A Novel Slide Way Lubricant.

Inventors include Deepak Kumar; Vivek Kumar Pandey; and Mudit Mathur.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel slide way lubricant with volatile corrosion protection in enclosed and semi-enclosed machining tools environment. The present invention includes a base oil A, a base oil B, a fatty acid, a volatile corrosion inhibitor amine and an additive. The base oil A having concentration range of 68.5% to 73% w/w. The base oil B having concentration range of 24% to 28% w/w. The fatty acid having concentration range of 0.10% to 0.60% w/w. The volatile corrosion inhibitor amine having concentration range of 0.10% to 0.50% w/w. The additive having concentration range of 1.0% to 2.0% w/w. The lubricant provides dual-action protection through contact-phase and vapor-phase mechanisms by including a base oil, contact corrosion inhibitor, volatile corrosion inhibitor in single stable formulation, and forms protective boundary film on metal surfaces upon application to reduce friction and wear while simultaneously preventing corrosion through indirect non-contact inhibition.
