This invention utilizes a sensor material such as a chemosensor, fluorescent probe, or colorimetric reagent-that exhibits a measurable signal change upon coordination with Fe³+ under ambient conditions. The detection mechanism is based on colorimetric analysis, fluorescence quenching, and bio-cell imaging, enabling rapid and specific quantification of Fe3+ with minimal interference from other metal ions. The system demonstrates a low limit of detection, a broad linear detection range, and compatibility with portable devices for on-site monitoring. Overall, this invention provides a cost-effective, robust, and reproducible method for Fe3+ detection, with significant potential for applications in biomedical analysis and real-time cellular monitoring.
