Inventors include Dr. Rajnish Kumar; and Anmol Dogra.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: A pH sensitive polymeric drug carrier system is disclosed for controlled release of a therapeutic agent in response to environmental pH. The system includes a therapeutic agent reservoir, a pH responsive polymeric matrix, a diffusion regulating phase, a buffering microdomain, a stabilizing excipient region, and an outer responsive boundary layer. The carrier restricts release under acidic conditions and enables regulated liberation at a selected higher pH. The system is adaptable to particles, pellets, tablets, capsules, films, or dispersed pharmaceutical units.
