The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a phytochemical based composition and a method of synthesis thereof. The phytochemical based composition is in the injectable form that exhibits sol and gel transition property at 4°C and 37°C. The phytochemical based composition includes a bioflavonoid; a glucosaminoglycan (GAG) precursor; a biopolymer composite; and a water soluble synthetic polymer. The bioflavonoid and the GAG precursor is integrated into the biopolymer composite along with the water soluble synthetic polymer to form the phytochemical based composition in the form of biomimetic hydrogel that exhibits both bioactivity and structural mimicry of native cartilage tissue for cartilage regeneration.
