Abstract: The present invention provides a pipe thruster (100) comprising a pair of thruster structure (1, 2), a pair of jack rotation assembly (3, 4), a pair of jack cylinder grip (5, 6), a pair of jack cylinder (7, 8), a clamp unit (9), and a control unit. The pair of jack cylinders (7, 8) are mounted in parallel to each other on said pair of thruster structure (1, 2) via said pair of jack rotation assembly (3, 4) and said pair of jack cylinder grip (5, 6). The fluid pressure generated by a hydraulic machine is transmitted to said pair jack cylinder (7, 8) to move said clamp unit (9) in the linear direction. The control unit controls the extension and retraction of said jack cylinder (7, 8) and opening and closing of said clamp unit (9).
