Abstract: ABSTRACT 5 A Portable Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Non-Invasive System for Continuous Monitoring of Labour Progress and Fetal Status The present invention relates to an AI-enabled non-invasive smart birth monitoring device and system for continuous monitoring of labour progression and fetal wellbeing. The invention comprises a flexible wearable sensor patch incorporating 10 nanofilm ultrasound transducers and MEMS biosensors for transperineal or abdominal application, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based neural network processor configured to analyse physiological signals for estimating cervical dilatation, cervical effacement, uterine contractions, fetal heart rate, and labour progression, a display unit for providing real-time visual monitoring with colour- 15 coded clinical alerts, and a wireless communication module for secure cloud-based data transmission and remote clinical consultation. The invention enables continuous, objective, and non-invasive assessment of labour progress, reducing dependence on repeated per vaginal examinations while supporting timely clinical decision-making and improving maternal and fetal monitoring in both hospital and 20 resource-limited healthcare settings. n T=NITrcT rcr— I.
