Abstract: A portable solar-based electric scooter for sustainable student transportation is disclosed, which comprises a foldable structural vehicle frame (200) having a horizontal floorboard deck (202), an articulated folding hinge joint mechanism (204), and an adjustable structural steering column (206) supporting a transverse handle bar assembly (208). The transverse handle bar assembly (208) mounts an interactive digital display panel (210), a mechanical brake lever (212), and an electronic thumb- throttle accelerator mechanism (214). An under-deck electronics enclosure (216) housed beneath the floorboard deck contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (304) managed by an active battery management system (306). A body-conforming flexible solar panel array (300) captures solar radiation and works with an intelligent solar charge controller unit (302) using Maximum Power Point Tracking logic to safely charge the lithium-ion battery pack (304).
