The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a position locking mechanism for withdrawable circuit breakers, ensuring reliable interlocking at disconnect, test, and connect positions. The mechanism includes a cradle (4a) with side plates (1) and cross pieces (2), a cradle shaft (5) with end cams (5a), and a racking screw rod (7) mounted on a racking support bracket (8) by a bearing (19). The racking screw rod (7) translates motion to a rack (10) engaging pinions (11) on the cradle shaft (5). Locking cam (12) and reset cam (13) are mounted on the cradle shaft (5). A sliding link (14) engages the locking cam (12), while a reset latch (15) engages the reset cam (13). A lock link (17) connected via a pivot link (16) engages a lock nut (18) on the racking screw rod (7). A pushbutton (20) disengages the lock link (17) from the lock nut (18), allowing movement between positions.
