MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641095148 A) filed by Krishnajith K on August 06, 2026, for A Predictive Travel Monitoring System For Preventing Destination Overshoot Using Motion-Based Probab.
Inventor includes Krishnajith K.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The invention is a predictive probabilistic motion-adaptive wake assurance and safety escalation system and method implemented through mobile devices and wearables that prevents users from missing intended stops during public transport or commuting. The system integrates multiple computational modules that operate collaboratively to analyze motion data, predict arrival events, evaluate user responsiveness and initiate adaptive alert and safety mechanisms. The system includes a Motion Prediction Engine that processes real-time geolocation and sensor data to determine travel velocity, acceleration patterns and predicted stopping behavior, thereby estimating parameters such as estimated' time to arrival and predicted stop probability. A Geo-Adaptive Engine dynamically adjusts the geospatial alert boundary based on real-time motion conditions, enabling alerts to be triggered at optimal distances relative to travel speed. A Wake Probability Engine computes a probabilistic score representing the likelihood that the user will fail to respond to alerts by analyzing motion parameters, contextual variables and historical response data. Based on this score, an Adaptive Escalation Engine delivers progressively intensified alert notifications through vibration, audible signals and visual cues until the user acknowledges the alert. A Behavioral Learning Engine continuously refines system parameters by analyzing historical user interaction data, thereby personalizing alert timing and escalation patterns. Additionally, a Risk Assessment Engine evaluates contextual travel risks and activates a Safety Escalation Engine that transmits location information to designated contacts when high-risk conditions and user non-responsiveness are detected, thereby preventing destination overshoot and enhancing travel safety.
