Abstract: ABSTRACT A PROCESS FOR THE PURIFICATION OF BIOMOLECULES AND A PURIFICATION SYSTEM THEREOF The present disclosure relates to a process for the purification of biomolecules and a purification system thereof. The process employs a light-activated molecular purification (LAMP) technique in which biomolecules fused with a photocleavable affinity tag are selectively bound to a solid support and subsequently released upon exposure to light. The process enables controlled and efficient purification of biomolecules while maintaining their structural integrity and functional activity. The process is simple, cost-effective, scalable, and minimizes downstream processing steps compared to conventional chromatography-based techniques.
