Abstract: ABSTRACT A PROTECTION DEVICE FOR DC-TO-DC POWER CONVERTERS In an embodiment of a present invention, a protection device for DC-to-DC power converters (100) is disclosed. A protection device (116) for DC-to-DC power converters (100) comprises a primary sensing unit (102) and a5 secondary sensing unit (104). The primary sensing unit (102) is configured to regulate output voltage of the DC-to-DC power converter (100). A secondary sensing unit (104) is coupled with the primary sensing unit (102). The secondary sensing unit (104) is configured to adjust an output of the DC-to-DC power converter (100), if intolerances and inaccuracies present in10 the primary sensing unit (102) based on monitored performance of the primary sensing unit (102), thereby preventing catastrophic failure of a MOSFET (110).
