Abstract: ABSTRACT With the rapid growth of digital communication and multimedia technologies, secure image transmission has become highly important in medical, military, cloud, and loT-based applications. Image encryption is widely used to protect confidential visual information from unauthorized access and cyber-attacks. Existing encryption methods mainly use chaotic maps, permutation- diffusion techniques, and arithmetic operations for security. However, many existing methods rely on fixed numerical transformations and lack adaptive sequence evolution mechanisms, which may reduce randomness and security performance. To overcome these limitations, the present invention proposes a secure image encryption framework based on Piecewise Linear Chaotic Map (PWLCM) integrated with dynamic crossover-splicing based pseudo-random keystream generation. Multiple chaotic symbolic sequences are recursively recombined to generate a highly random and secure keystream for image permutation and diffusion. Experimental analyses demonstrate improved entropy, reduced pixel correlation, and strong resistance against statistical and differential attacks.CS, COLLEGE OF
