Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a roof rear end structure (100) comprising a roof panel (102) having a roof rear end region (104) which includes a styling region (110), a tailgate mounting region (120) and a vertical section (130). A first joinery region (140a) is connected to a side body extension (200). A second joinery region (140b) is connected to a side body panel (300). The roof rear end structure (100) further comprising a first separation portion (150a) positioned between the styling region and the vertical section, a second separation portion (150b) positioned between the tailgate mounting region, the vertical section (130) and the first joinery region (140a), and a third separation portion (150c) positioned between the first joinery region (140a) and the second joinery region (140b). The first, second, and third separation portions (150a, 150b, 150c) are configured to distribute stress uniformly throughout the roof rear end region (104). Figure 3 is a representative figure.
