Abstract: “A ROTATING MECHANISM FOR A RETROFITTABLE SELF- CLEANING SANITARY SEAT DEVICE” The present disclosure discloses a rotating mechanism (108) for a self-cleaning sanitary seat device (102). The rotating mechanism (108) comprises a primary rotating member (202a) detachably connected to an annular sanitary seat (104). The said rotating mechanism (108) further comprises a secondary rotating member (202b) rotatably connected to the primary rotating member (202a). A first electronic actuator (204) may be connected to the secondary rotating member (202b), wherein the rotary motion of the first electronic actuator (204) is transmitted to the annular sanitary seat (104) with the aid of the primary rotating member (202a) and the secondary rotating member (202b).
