The rotor assembly (104) further comprises a core (108) disposed on the shaft (104), where the core (108) comprises of a plurality of pockets (108a) and plurality of channels (108b). Additionally, the rotor assembly (104) comprises one or more end plates (110), each of the end plate comprising a first protrusion (110a) and a second protrusion (110b), where the first protrusion (110a) comprises at least one first hole (110c) and the second protrusion (110b) comprises at least one second hole (110d).
