Abstract: ABSTRACT A safety device 100 for filling hydrogen gas in a plurality of hydrogen storage tanks is described. The safety device 100 comprises a hydrogen gas flow monitoring sensor positioned downstream from a plurality of hydrogen gas cylinders 110. The hydrogen gas flow monitoring sensor is adapted to measure a volume of hydrogen gas supplied from the plurality of hydrogen gas cylinders 110 to a plurality of hydrogen storage tanks 120 that are secured to a hydrogen vehicle. The safety device 100 for filling hydrogen gas in the plurality of hydrogen storage tanks 120 further comprises a pressure sensor 130 positioned downstream from the hydrogen gas flow monitoring sensor, the pressure sensor 130 adapted to sense a pressure of the hydrogen gas that is supplied from the plurality of hydrogen gas cylinders 110 to the plurality of hydrogen storage tanks 120 that are in flow communication with the hydrogen engine.
