Abstract: A scalable baseband processing architecture for wireless systems is disclosed. The architecture includes a configuration interface, control plane manager, timing aware scheduler, processing tiles, accelerator modules, buffer banks, interconnect fabric, and input- output interface. Baseband operations are represented as descriptors containing operation, buffer, dependency, priority, and deadline information. The scheduler assigns descriptors to heterogeneous resources while considering data locality and timing requirements. The architecture supports variable carrier bandwidths, antenna configurations, and radio standards with adaptive resource activation and monitored execution status.
