MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073649 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for A Scalable Battery Reconfiguration Architecture.

Inventor includes Ankur Jain.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A SCALABLE BATTERY RECONFIGURATION ARCHITECTURE A scalable battery reconfiguration architecture comprising a battery reconfiguration system (100) and a method (200) is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a plurality of electrochemical cells (102), a plurality of cell interconnection structures (104), and a shared reconfiguration architecture (106) operatively coupled to the cell interconnection structures (104). The shared reconfiguration architecture (106) is configured to alter electrical interconnections among the electrochemical cells (102) and operate across a variable number of electrochemical cells (102). A scalable battery architecture (120) includes a battery pack (122) configured for expansion through addition of electrochemical cells (102) and corresponding cell interconnection structures (104) while retaining the shared reconfiguration architecture (106). The method (200) comprises providing (202) a shared reconfiguration architecture (106), adding (204) electrochemical cells (102), extending (206) cell interconnection structures (104), and operating (208) the shared reconfiguration architecture (106) across added electrochemical cells (102). FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
