Abstract: ABSTRACT “A SEAMLESS SWITCH AND A METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF” Present disclosure discloses a seamless switch (100) which includes a base layer (102) and an 5 actuating layer (106) disposed on the base layer (102). The actuating layer (106) includes a first layer (106a) having a plurality of electromagnets (108) fixedly mounted on the base layer (102). The switch includes a second layer (106b) having a plurality of magnets (110) and is positioned above the first layer (106a). The plurality of electromagnets (108) are selectively energized to displace the plurality of magnets relative to the plurality of electromagnets. The 10 switch further includes a capacitive layer (112) positioned on the second layer of the actuating layer (106) and a top fabric layer (104) positioned on the capacitive layer. The capacitive layer and the top fabric layer deform between a retracted position (RP) and an extended position (EP) in response to displacement of the plurality of magnets (110) relative to the plurality of electromagnets. 15 Fig. 3b is the representative figure.
