Abstract: [033] The present invention relates to a self-healing photovoltaic module system incorporating an embedded microfluidic resin network and an in-situ curing mechanism for repairing cracks and structural damage within a solar panel. The system comprises a front protective layer, at least one photovoltaic cell layer, at least one encapsulation layer, and a microfluidic network disposed within or adjacent to the encapsulation layer for storing and delivering a curable healing resin to a damaged region. Upon formation of a crack in the photovoltaic cell layer, conductive path region, or associated structural portion, the healing resin is released through one or more microchannels and flows into the damaged region, preferably by capillary action. The system further comprises an in-situ curing mechanism, preferably including one or more UV light sources integrated into the frame or peripheral portion of the photovoltaic module, for curing the healing resin after delivery. In optional embodiments, the system further includes one or more sensors and a control unit for detecting damage and controlling curing activation. The invention improves structural durability, reduces performance loss, enhances operational reliability, and increases the service life of photovoltaic modules. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2]
