Abstract: The present invention is related to a self-heating shirodhara pot. used in Ayurvedic therapy for maintaining a continuous flow of warm medicated oil during the Shirodhara procedure. The pot is structurally similar to a traditional Shirodhara vessel but is integrated with an embedded electric heating coil (102) and a thermostat (103) positioned within a sealed and insulated base portion. An oil inlet (101) is provided at the upper portion of the pot for filling medicated oil. The heating coil (102) maintains the oil temperature within a therapeutic range of 35°C to 45°C throughout the treatment duration, thereby eliminating the need for external heating or repeated reheating of oil. The thermostat (103) regulates temperature to ensure safety and uniform heating. The invention enables uninterrupted therapy, reduces manual effort, and allows use by a single therapist. The self-heating Shirodhara pot is cost-effective, portable, and easy to maintain, while retaining the option for manual operation in case of electrical failure.
