MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641069273 A) filed by Sr University on June 02, 2026, for A Self-Supervised Cross-Modality Tumour Feature Amplification And Reconstruction System For Ultra-Early Pancreatic Cancer Detection.

Inventors include Mr. Shashank Kotturi; and Dr. Raveendrbabu Vempati.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a self-supervised cross-modality tumour feature amplification and reconstruction system (100) for ultra-early pancreatic cancer detection, the system (100) comprises a data acquisition module (102) configured to receive and preprocess multimodal medical images. A self-supervised learning module (104) configured to generate modality-specific feature representations. A cross-modality tumour feature amplification module (106) configured to learn latent tumour signatures. The system also includes a tumour feature reconstruction module (108) configured to reconstruct missing, degraded, obscured, or weak tumour- related signals. A multimodal transformer fusion module (110) comprising a CT encoder, an MRI encoder, and cross-attention layers. The system also includes a tumour-aware enhancement generator module (112) configured to generate an enhanced tumour-highlighted diagnostic image. A tumour detection and classification module (114) configured to detect, localize, classify, and assess pancreatic tumour characteristics. The system also includes an output module (116) configured to generate diagnostic outputs.
