MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411094823 A) filed by Bluai Private Limited on December 02, 2024, for A Sensor Enabled Non Invasive Measurement Device For Determining A Level Of Liquid Or Gas Within A Storage Cylinder.

Inventors include Jay Nagi; Krizma Nagi; and Anurag Shrivastva.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a sensor-enabled non-invasive measurement device for determining liquid or gas levels within storage cylinders is disclosed. The device comprises a housing having a contact face and a magnetic mounting assembly with four magnets for secure attachment to a cylinder's bottom surface. The system integrates an ultrasonic transceiver, an accelerometer, a temperature sensor, and a power unit including a coin-cell battery and a DC-DC voltage regulator. A microcontroller (18) is configured to validate the device's orientation using the accelerometer before activating the DC-DC regulator to boost the supply voltage for the ultrasonic transceiver. The liquid level is derived based on the Time-of-Flight of ultrasonic pulses and measured temperature. The device provides an energy-efficient solution for monitoring invisible matter without structural modification to the cylinder.
