Abstract: Disclosed herein is a sensor-integrated adaptive dental suction device (100) that comprises a suction tip (102) having a distal suction opening (104), an aspiration passage (106), a sensing chamber (108), a plurality of sensors (110), and a processing unit (112) configured to process pressure, flow, and aerosol or particle-related parameters and classify an aspiration condition. A variable flow-control valve (122) regulates suction according to the classified condition. An air-bleed passage (124) and a tissue-protection valve (126) reduce effective negative pressure at the distal suction opening (104) upon detection of a tissue-occlusion condition. The device (100) further provides feedback-based adaptive suction control through repeated sensing and adjustment, thereby facilitating controlled evacuation of fluid and aerosol and improved tissue protection during dental procedures.
